Yale Shuttle

During Commencement weekend the Yale campus is typically congested, making driving difficult. Yale strongly recommends that you park your car for the day and move around the campus by walking or the use of the Yale Shuttle.
Commencement Weekend Shuttle Schedule

On the day of Commencement, take the red line from Union Station or State Street Station to main campus. Departures from Union Station are every fifteen minutes on the quarter hour and from State Street Station, four minutes later.

Drop-off at College and Chapel Streets would be most convenient for Commencement guests going to Old Campus. At 10:00 am, when the Commencement procession begins and streets are closed, drop-off will be at Chapel and Church Streets.

Return red line shuttles leave from Phelps gate, with pick-up every fifteen minutes.

Shuttle Routes and Real-Time Shuttle Locations

Transloc has created for Yale free Android and iPhone app that allows you to see  the real-time  location  of all shuttle buses, as well as access announcements that might impact your ride. It is recommended that you download and install this free app on your phone for Commencement week.
